Privacy Policy

AIKeyMoji ("we", "our", or "the app") is built privacy-first. This policy explains exactly what data the app touches and what we do with it. Short version: nothing leaves your device. We don't run any servers, we don't collect analytics, and we don't have user accounts.
1. What data the app accesses
1.1 Photos and videos you choose
When you tap "Choose Photo" or "Choose Video", iOS shows you the system photo picker. Only the specific item(s) you select are passed to the app — AIKeyMoji never has unrestricted access to your photo library.
The selected media is processed entirely on your device by Apple's Vision framework (for background removal and frame extraction) and Apple Foundation Models (for AI Remix). The original media is not copied, uploaded, or saved anywhere by AIKeyMoji.
1.2 Photo Library write access
If you tap "Save to Photos" on a sticker you created, iOS will ask for permission to save that single image to your Photos library. This is the only situation in which AIKeyMoji writes to your Photos.
1.3 Stickers you create
Stickers you generate are stored in a private container on your device, accessible only to AIKeyMoji and its keyboard extension via an Apple App Group. They are never sent to any server. Deleting the app removes them.
1.4 What you type
AIKeyMoji is a system keyboard. iOS asks you to grant "Allow Full Access" so the keyboard can read sticker images from the shared App Group on your device. We never read, log, store, or transmit anything you type. The only writes our keyboard does are placing a sticker image on the system pasteboard when you tap one.
2. Data we don't collect
- We do not collect personal information.
- We do not collect device identifiers, IDFA, or advertising IDs.
- We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
- We do not use crash reporting SDKs (you can opt-in to Apple's anonymized App Store crash reports via iOS Settings).
- We do not have user accounts, sign-in, or profiles.
- We do not place cookies (the app is native iOS — there are no web views with cookies).
3. On-device AI
All AI features are powered by Apple's on-device frameworks:
- Vision — for background removal, foreground segmentation, and frame analysis.
- Foundation Models — for AI Remix; runs Apple's on-device large language model.
- Apple Intelligence — used where available on supported devices.
These frameworks process data locally on your iPhone. AIKeyMoji does not send images, videos, prompts, or any other data to cloud-based AI services.
4. The built-in sticker library
AIKeyMoji ships with a curated library of GIF stickers bundled inside the app. Selecting and copying these stickers is a fully offline operation.
5. Children's privacy
AIKeyMoji is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
6. Network access
AIKeyMoji has no required network features. The app does not call any servers operated by us. iOS itself may make standard system network requests (for example, to fetch newer Apple Foundation Models) — those are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
7. Third parties
We don't share any data with third parties because we don't collect any data in the first place. No advertisers, no analytics providers, no data brokers.
8. Your rights
Because we don't store any of your data on our systems, there is no account to delete and no profile to access. To remove stickers and any local data created by AIKeyMoji, simply delete the app from your iPhone.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes.

11. Apple's role
AIKeyMoji is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your interactions with the App Store, including download, payments (the app is currently free), and crash reports you opt-in to, are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
